We are hiring IMMEDIATELY for a Youth Dual Diagnosis Counselor II to join one of our community mental health providers!

Summary:

We are currently seeking a youth dual diagnosis counselor.

The youth dual diagnosis counselor will provide services in our youth intensive and non-intensive outpatient drug & alcohol program to youth who are experiencing both mental health and SUD issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Complete ASAM and or dual-diagnosis assessments and treatment plans for assigned participants
• Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy to intensive and non-intensive outpatient SUD participants
• Provide case management to participants and consultation with other members and community partners serving the participant, which can include but is not limited to DHS, Juvenile Justice, and housing assistance programs
• Work closely with Juvenile Justice in providing consistent communication and care coordination
• Initiate referrals to appropriate levels of care which can include care coordination, residential treatment and MAT programs
• Engage in multi-disciplinary team meetings as requested
• Document in EHR and SCMS systems progress that participants are making towards treatment goals and objectives
• Monitor and address UA results with clients throughout their treatment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college required.
• CADC I required or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
