Currently offering a $1500 sign on bonus! Hourly rates starting at $19.23 with additional $1.50 per hour for afternoon shift, $1.00 per hour for midnight shift, and $1.00 per hour for weekend shifts.

It is the Milieu Staff's primary responsibility to provide day-to-day supervision, care, and guidance to residents assigned to their unit. Milieu Staff provide a safe and healthy treatment milieu designed to meet the emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual needs of the residents. The Milieu Staff provides a positive role model for the residents to emulate and is responsible for teaching a variety of communications, coping, problem solving, and social skills.

ITASKIN Treatment Center Campus & Residential Treatment Cottage

The Stabilization Program provides a safe placement setting for males and females 12-18 years old. Children under 12 years old may be accepted for short-term crisis intervention. Each child receives a health screening by a registered nurse, a case manager to assist the family with options and directions, and an action plan for stabilization and discharge.

The 35 Day Evaluation Program identifies and evaluates the strengths and areas of intervention of a youth and their family. Our assessment provides families with recommendations and options made by professional, caring staff while giving immediate treatment.

Intensive Residential Treatment is a 90 Day Program at ITASKIN Treatment Center. Youth in this program need more of structured setting, for example; runners, suicidal, homeless, crisis, delinquency, conduct, and youth with chemical dependency issues. Programming is available for males an females, ages 12 years and older.

The Residential Treatment Cottage is a therapeutic living environment for adolescents, ages 12-18, diagnosed with Serious Emotional Disability (SED). Programming is strength-based, preparing youth to be successful to return to their home, community, and school. Along with assistance from North Homes staff, youth and their families will set goals together to support change and healing within their relationships.

Requirements:

Candidates must be responsible, mature, self-motivated individuals who posses a desire to work with at-risk youth, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to set firm limits.

Qualifications: must be 21 years of age, have a valid Minnesota driver's license, and have a high-school diploma or GED. Post-secondary education in the Human Service / Law Enforcement fields or equivalent experience is desirable but not mandatory.
