Members will serve individually or in pairs at one of 31 partnering schools in Oceanside, Vista, Valley Center, Escondido, Carlsbad, & San Diego. Members receive extensive orientation, ongoing support/coaching, weekly/monthly meetings, attend/serve at events with fellow AmeriCorps members, professional training on topics relevant to service, career development opportunities, and networking opportunities within the school site, PASS AmeriCorps program, San Diego County Office of Education, and with community partners; Looking for a mature, motivated, self-starters wanting to make a positive difference in the community and the lives of the students we serve.
Position details:
- Full-time only
- 10-month/1700-hour service term
- First Year Member- $2,000/month, Second Year Member- $2,250/month
- Serving Monday - Friday with occasional weekends & evenings

Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher
- Vehicle recommended and valid driver's license
- Preferred 1-2 years’ experience working with youth
- Spanish-speaking a plus.
- Complete SDCOE (San Diego County Office of Education) and AmeriCorps applications, fingerprinting/background check
