We have three assisted living facilities:

Agape Home Assisted Living, 4445 S. Brooks Rd., Muskegon MI 49444.

Agape Home at Blueberry Fields, 4747 E. Mt. Garfield Rd, Fruitport, MI 49415.

DaySpring Assisted Living, 572 Lake Forest Ln, Norton Shores, MI. 49441.

We hire staff who are self-motivated, compassionate, team-oriented, drama free, profanity and arguing free, and who have caring hearts to serve older adults. We serve the whole person including their Spiritual, Social, Emotional, and Physical needs.

Covid-19 vaccination not required. Rapid COVID-19 antigen tests are done regularly (free of charge).

Job responsibility highlights:

• Partnering with residents to provide assistance as needed to meet care needs, serve meals, pass medications, and engage in life-enriching activities with residents.
• Life enrichment activities: Resident Life Partner caregivers are able to engage residents in activities such as: Bible studies, exercise, Walking Club, gardening, devotions, reading stories and reminiscing, puzzles, games, singing and music, arts and crafts, and more. Opportunities for "Quality-of-the Moment" unplanned activities one-on-one with residents that are meaningful such as comforting and encouraging them by praying with them.
• Activities of Daily Living: Assisting residents in Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs).
• Medication administration: training is provided to pass medications as ordered by residents' physicians.
• Serving meals: and assist residents with eating. At our 2 Agape Homes you will help cook/prepare the meals as well.
• Laundry and housekeeping duties.

Qualifications:

• CNA, MA, or Med Tech training preferred, but not required.
• Experience in caregiving/healthcare a plus. (We provide paid on-the-job training).
• Applicant must have positive work history record.
