Position Summary:

Stages product in designated areas (grocery, freezer, or other as assigned) and replenishes selections slots using a forklift. Move pallets from Receiving to Reserve locations using PIV equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Removes empty pallets from selection areas and delivers them to an assigned area.
• Replenishes selection slots as needed based on demand or suggested schedule. Updates inventory by scanning pallets and cases.
• Places inbound freight in appropriate reserve or pick slots.
• Assists the Selection and Shipping departments with pallet picks and take-outs.
• Completes assigned pallet moves before the end of the shift.
• Completes housekeeping activities on a daily basis.
• Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to work independently or within a team environment.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
• Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.
