1. MISSION:

· Achieve the established production and quality goals for the shifts assigned by applying and efficiently organizing and distributing the work within a production team of several workers.

2. GENERAL FUNCTIONS*:

· Prepare equipment and workplaces and assign the operators to the various job positions depending on their technical knowledge and skills.

· Distribute and monitor the teamwork, as well as providing the necessary support for the correction of possible deviations.

· Train/coach new team leader/operator if Team Leader does not exist in the area and perform layered flash audit.

· Ensure OSHA policies and procedures are followed in the area of responsibility.

· Monitor and supervise optimal performance of people, workplaces and equipment, as well as controlling skills matrix (versatility)

· Fill in the required documentation at a plant level for production, quality, attendance, etc.

· Monitor achievement of established quality standards for processes and products.

· Report to Section Manager on the main effectiveness and efficiency ratios for the area of responsibility.

· Ensure appropriate administration and use of consumption materials.

Participate in pre-shift meetings and daily production meetings.

· Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.

· Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.

· Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.

· Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

· Other functions as needed for the Paint Department.
