Details of an Insurance Manager:
- 19.23-29/hr plus annual performance bonus- Pay determined by experience and role.
- M-F 830AM-5PM, One day per week 10am-7pm, One rotating Saturday every 5 weeks. - Claims Manager
- M-F 9AM-5PM - Account Manager
Responsibilities of an Insurance Claims Manager:
- Generate sales from outside sources to bring in new clients, including (but not limited to) cold calling and networking events
- Cross sell current clients to increase Policies Per Household and win back former customers to increase Policies in Force
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times
- Update client contacts in The EZ Lynks system after each interaction and create follow ups as needed while keeping record of actions taken by your team
- Be a self-starter and prioritize duties throughout the day, while monitoring all Claims and time-management abilities
- Keep all client, employee, and quote information confidential at all times
- Responsible for identifying and maximizing our Agency's potential, crafting sales plans VS. Claims and justifying those to plans to the upper management
- Achieve growth and assist in hitting Agency Sales goals through cross sale and Win Back opportunities.
- Set and monitor measurable and attainable goals for yourself regarding Claims and be able to discuss progress with management at any time
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure it's strong presence
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Other duties as assigned
Responsibilities of an Account Manager:
- Acts as a customer service representative at insurance companies.
- Focuses on the customer service side of the insurance sales cycle, they manage and nurture customer relationships, and lead all client communications.
- Responding to customer inquiries, explaining coverage and premiums, informing clients on any policy or billing changes, and facilitating the claims process between clients and the adjuster.
- Work closely with the rest of the team to enable ongoing and future sales or renewals.
- Focus on either personal lines or commercial lines of insurance
Requirements of an Insurance Manager:
- High school diploma
- Active Property and casualty license
- Microsoft Windows & Microsoft Office experience
- Email & Professional Correspondence
- Scanner/Copier/Fax Machine
- Keeping Accurate Time log
- Sales & Customer Service
- Problem Solving
- Self-Motivation & Self-Accountability
- Setting attainable and measurable goals
- You must be able sit for extended periods of time at a desk while using a computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
- You will need to be able to speak and converse with clients in person as well as on the phone.
