What does OptimalShip do? We connect with businesses that do international shipping and share the benefits of using DHL Express with our wholesale rates and world-class Customer Service team.

What will I be doing? As a team member of the Account Development team, you will be contacting existing clients and providing proactive customer service. Your goal is to help them arrange their next shipment by making sure they have all the necessary supplies to send their shipments off, providing quotes, preparing shipping labels, and resolving concerns. In this role, you will also be managing a book of business, maintaining our relationship with them by building rapport and following up on their shipping needs.

What skills do I need? The very best Account Development agents are sociable, consistent, reliable, personable, coachable, and persistent. We always give our clients the best service, but we are also always aiming for more business. Managing accounts requires you to be friendly and proactive, while growing revenue requires you to be assertive and bold.

Available hours for this position are

Monday - Thursday 7am – 4:30p

Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Our expectations are 20 hours a week, five days a week.

Skills & Qualifications

· High School Diploma

· Previous Experience in customer service

· Strong communication skills (oral and written)

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to sit at a desk throughout your shift (ranging 2 – 4 hours)

· Must be able to wear a headset throughout your shift (ranging 2 – 4 hours)
