Asbestos Experts a leading Asbestos Abatement contractor, is looking for a full-time Controller for our family of businesses. We are growing and have an immediate need for the candidate to take over the financial and accounting function within the organization. The following is a general outline of what is required of the candidate:

· General Ledger through financial statement preparation for multiple entities

· Daily cash management and bank reconciliations

· Prepare and process weekly payroll

· Maintain banking relations

· Maintain insurance relations

· Maintain outside CPA relationship

· Maintenance and updating of the company budget vs. actual

· Prepare customer invoicing, credit memos, and corrections

· Spearhead collection efforts of aged receivables

· Prepare weekly management reports for ownership

· Prepare monthly worker’s comp reports

· Prepare all monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings

· Liaison with CPAs regarding year-end requirements

· Integrate and manage the HR department

· Other requirements and tasks as they arise

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting, have past managerial experience, and experience in human resources. Ability to efficiently change tasks on a moments notice is also required. Experience with Excel, QuickBooks and Word is required

Salary: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
