Accounting Specialist Job at Robert Half
Description of Position
Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join a client in the manufacturing industry as they look to add to their accounting staff due to growth. This role will function onsite in their New Hope office, and you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and transactional accounting tasks to support the company. Your duties on a daily basis include:
Process and Maintain Accounts Receivable: Produces daily customer invoices; manages receivable balances to current status and reports collection activities; resolves customer billing inquiries; applies cash receipts to customer accounts; maintains customer tax exempt certificates; reconciles AR aging report to general ledger.
Cash: Completes daily cash balancing for accurate month-end intercompany cash balancing. Reconciles outstanding checks to ending cash ledger balance at month end.
Completes the Accounting Operations month-end close schedule accurately and timely including Accounts Payable accruals and assigned account reconciliations.
Completes annual financial audit requests, as directed by Controller.
Supports the Controller with other tasks, as needed.
