An Accounting Specialist position has become available for our accounting team.

1099 Contractor Work

Property Mangement / Accounting Experience a plus.

The Accounting Specialist performs a variety of accounting clerical tasks related to the maintenance/processing of account records/ invoices for company’s various clients and vendors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Reconcile Accounts Payable (A/P) statements/reports and/or Accounts Receivable statements with computer data
  • Communicate with and monitor AR account collections for weekly review
  • Data-entry postings for payments/receipts
  • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
  • Additional projects as assigned / requested by Supervisors

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelors's degree preferred
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
  • One or more years Accounting Experience Preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered
  • Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data
  • Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Highly organized
  • Additional miscellaous duties as assigned

Additional Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem-solving skills
  • General understanding of accounting practices and principles
  • Excellent computer skills using 10-Key by touch
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data
  • Multilingual a+ ( English, Tagalog, Chinese )

Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
