Accounts Payable Coordinator
Western States Fire Protection is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join its accounts payable team at the Corporate headquarters at 7020 S Tucson Way, Centennial, CO 80112.
- This is not a remote position.
Occasional overtime may be required throughout the year, particularly during month, quarter, and year-end closing. *
The salary range for this position is $19 - $23 per hour, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Track AP invoices utilizing a paperless workflow.
- Verify AP invoices through two-way match by comparing invoice and purchase order details.
- Perform accurate detailed data entry and posting of AP invoices within accounting system.
- Strict adherence to policies and procedures to ensure SOX compliance.
- Maintain a portfolio of branches providing support as needed.
- Vendor statement reconciliation
- Maintain thorough documentation.
- Adjust to updated systems, processes, and procedures as required.
- Assist with additional AP tasks and projects as needed.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of three years data entry experience
- Accounts Payable experience preferred.
- Construction and/or job costing experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Team player that operates well in a dynamic team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to grasp new technology and software quickly.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft products including Teams, Outlook, Word, OneDrive, and Excel
- Willing to pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.
