Accounts Payable - General Administrative (Part Time) Job at B and D Foods

Are you pleasant, dependable, hard-working, and have a good head for numbers? We are looking for a world-class Accounts Payable Clerk/Admin who will take ownership for vendor relationships for a busy food manufacturing facility while being the "face" of the company to those contacting the office.
Requirements:
- At least two years of post-high school education or equivalent
- Keyboard 50+ wpm
- Strong math skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Accounting experience a plus
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
- Ability and desire to learn and excel with a growing, dynamic company
- Self-starter and quick learner
Description of Duties:
- Front desk coverage - follow company procedures and protocols in assisting various visitors as they come in for deliveries, pickups, meetings, etc.
- Phone coverage - provide excellent customer service for basic incoming phone inquiries and direct other phone calls to appropriate extensions as they come in through the main line.
- Invoice data entry, matching, and processing into SAGE 100 (MAS90) accounting software.
- Manage and track various logs for purchase orders, misc payables, accruals, etc.
- Process ACH/check disbursements 1-2 times per week
- Filing and paperwork organization
- Month-end processing tasks (various accruals, account reconciliations, etc)
- Communication with outside vendors and warehouses to collect paperwork, information, and resolve any issues.
- Other miscellaneous tasks and projects as requested by management.
Please note that this desk will be managing payables for three companies BandD Foods, Mountain View Packaging (MVP), and Tamarack Foods.
