We are looking for an excellent Accounts Payable Specialist to add to our growing Accounting Department.

What you will do:
- Enter Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) and benefit changes into CYMA.
- Prepare payroll recaps and other worksheets necessary to process payroll.
- Process payroll, accounts payable, contractor, advances, and other related checks according to company policies and procedures
- Responsible for payroll tax deposits. Assures completion in a timely manner.
- Process income verification, garnishments, and loan applications.
- Track employee benefit coverages and deductions.
- Responsible for accounts payable processing and vendor payments as follows:
- Invoice approval, processing, and payments
- Organization of paperwork including packing slips, unprocessed and unpaid invoices, vendor statements and vendors issues
- Filing of paid invoices
- Resolution of unapproved or disputed charges
- Deposit checks
- Acknowledge patient rights including privacy and confidentiality.
- Consistently display a professional appearance and conduct in all settings. Interpersonal and interagency relationships are to be always positive and professional.
- Assume responsibility and display reliability for the completion of all tasks, duties, communications, and actions.
- Maintain professional growth and development through networking continuing education.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Consistently meets project and monthly deadlines as established.
- Abide by Agency policy and procedures.
- Accept other duties as assigned including working overtime.
What you Possess:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Type a minimum of 55 wpm with working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Ability to direct and coordinate multiple functions.
- Experience interacting with clients and customers.
