We are a Durable Medical Equipment company with a focus on home respiratory medical equipment. We are seeking an Operations/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The position will be responsible for quality control of sales orders prior to confirmation, processing of physician orders, fielding of patient billing calls, processing patient payments, and processing both insurance and patient refunds. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, self-driven, have excellent communication skills and possess knowledge of insurance billing. The ability to work in a team environment is a requirement.
Duties include:
- Review sales orders for coding and modifiers.
- Review sales orders for the presence of a physician's order and for authorization.
- Review and log physician orders, returning for corrections if needed.
- Review patient charges and resolve billing issues with patients.
- Process refunds for patients and insurance companies.
- Serve as a resource for other staff in areas of expertise.
- Assist in other departments as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
