This role will support the ADAS group, working with the senior engineer responsible for global long range radar sensor development. This person will interface with the supplier and global stakeholders to design, develop, test, and document software and firmware. Additionally, this role will be the component lead for vehicle integration in the NAFTA region.

Position offers a starting salary range of $82,000 - $104,500 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
- Support design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of software and firmware components
- Work cross functionally throughout the global organization to collect and execute design and project requirements
- Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development lifecycle
- Lead full vehicle integration activities for NAFTA
- Interface with the supplier and cross functional teams to implement cyber security, network, diagnostic and FuSa standards
- Interface with the supplier and manufacturing to implement plant calibration processes
- Support testing activities, analysis and issue resolution during component, system-level, and vehicle level validation
- Support component measurement systems
- Support DTC development and troubleshooting documentation
- Investigate future perception technologies to enable more advanced ADAS features
Knowledge You Should Bring
- BS minimum in the areas of Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Control Systems or other related fields with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with CAN bus/Ethernet data protocol
- Knowledge of diagnostic protocols (UDS)
- Experience identifying and solving complex problems
- Ability to work with international cross functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- Technical experience with ADAS radars
- Experience with automotive HW packaging
- Knowledge of radar communication protocols
- Familiarity with automotive regulations and functional safety standards (ISO 26262)
- Knowledge of sensor calibration and validation methods
- Experience with measurement analysis using vector tools
- German language
