Our goal is to is to implement and manage a federal grant that helps people with barriers find meaningful and sustainable employment. Central Western Maine Workforce Initiatives works with a service provider to bring job seekers and employers together in five Maine counties: Androscoggin, Franklin, Kennebec, Oxford, and Somerset. CWMWI is headquartered in Augusta, Maine.
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team and provide support to the executive director and board. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, and providing general administrative support. The successful candidate will also possess strong communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate person.
- Schedule, attend, and support all CWMWI board and committee meetings.
- Organize and maintain files and records.
- Schedule individual appointments and meetings.
- Co-manage a Wordpress website.
- Maintain a working understanding of federal regulations as they pertain to the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act.
- Prepare meeting minutes and other documents as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the executive director and financial manager.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
