Position Summary:

We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties include providing support to the Clinic Director and clinical students in intake of referrals and scheduling clinical experiences. Responsibilities include making meeting arrangements, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. Ultimately, ensuring the efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of the office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • RJC liaison for schools, courts and prisons and for all individuals referred to the clinic.
  • Manage referrals from multiple sources.
  • Scheduling mediations from referral sources and with law students.
  • Maintain calendar for the director.
  • Monthly expense reports
  • Reconcile RJC bank statement
  • Coordinate with guest speakers
  • Assist with trainings & presentations as needed
  • Order and setup catering for special events
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Uphold and abide by Campbell University policies and procedures, including but not limited to Title IX, and Information Security, including but not limited to FERPA and other state and federal mandates
  • Other job related duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with notice

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma required
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Administrative experience required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively to all groups through both oral and written channels
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • Comprehensive computer skills, with the ability to learn and utilize new and emerging technology
  • Knowledge of /Proficiency with /Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and common methods of digital communication such as web conferencing, Zoom & Google meet.
  • Demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy and discretion in dealing with trustees, faculty, staff, students, high-level university officials.
  • Work independently as well as function effectively within a diverse group of people.
  • Manage multiple, concurrent projects
  • Adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to work in a changing environment
