Administrative Medical Assistant - Coras Wellness and Behavioral Health


Coras was Founded in 2021, as a limited liability corporation as a subsidiary of Conexio Care, Inc., CORAS Wellness & Behavioral Health provides a wide array of substance abuse and behavioral health treatment services, including but not limited to, MAT Services, Outpatient Services, Residentials Services, Sober Living Services, Primary Care Services, and other wellness and behavioral health services. We currently have 16 facilities throughout the state of Delaware.


Coras Wellness and Behavioral Health is seeking a candidate for the newly created Family Counselor position. This candidate will work in conjunction with the MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) Team. The Administrative Assistant is a member of the MAT and Outpatient administrative team that supports the compassionate care and assistance to persons who struggle with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral health challenges and require assistance to achieve their fullest potential. The Administrative Assistant provides the assistance necessary to allow the staff to effectively assist clients to live independently and ensure their wellness, health, and safety. The Administrative Assistant in collaboration with the MAT and outpatient CORAS Wellness and Behavior health administrative teams provides a wide range of administrative support. Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists with office tasks such as faxing, scanning, filling, copying, maintenance of spreadsheet, database management and upload of documents into the electronic health record.
  • Greets visitors and callers, handles inquiries and directs guest to the appropriate individual;
  • Responds to request for information in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Ensures adequate office supplies and maintenance of printer/scanner inclusive of toner orders.
  • Maintains client intake information, and referral.
  • Attends Staff meetings as appropriate.
  • Performs other duties as requested or assigned, verbally or in writing.

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified Medial Assistant
  • Experience with underserved populations preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
  • Excellent ability to work with clients with substance abuse, co-occurring and/or mental health disorders
  • Excellent writing skills and record keeping skills

Additional Qualifications: anything else you would like the candidate to possess

  • Computer knowledge of MS Office, and other HR applications is a plus, not required.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proactive, organized, and possess great follow-up skills.
  • Must have the skill/ability to collaborate, partner with, and provide exceptional customer support to a variety of affiliate partners within the organization.
