Visiting Angels of Fresno, CA is seeking a friendly, organized, and experienced person to join our team as an After Hours Coordinator!

The After Hours Coordinator is a key member of our staff who provides the support required for efficient office operations.

- Weekend Hours Needed -

Saturday: 6:00am to 3:00pm OR 3pm to 12am (Work from home)

Sunday: 6:00am to 3:00pm OR 3:00pm to 12:00am (Work from home)

Monday: 6:00pm to 12:00am (Work from home)

Must be willing to come in the office 2 days a week: 8:30am - 5:30pm

(Office days will not have After hour shifts)

Job Responsibilities

  • During after hours, phones must be answered immediately.
  • Any missed calls need to be called back within 5 min.
  • All calls must be logged with details (time, date, caller name, call back number, and a detailed message of the conversation). A log sheet will be provided to you
  • Any Emergencies such as caregiver injuries, client injuries, call-offs, must be reported right away to the manager via phone call.
  • Any text messages received must be replied to within 5-10 minutes.
  • At the end of the shift, all calls need to be routed to the night answering service.
  • Any items that need attention. Or are pending need to be emailed to manager by the end of the shift.
  • In case there is a last-minute call-off, and no one else is available to cover the shift, it will be your responsibility to cover the shift.
  • Answer phones and conduct calls with professionalism at all times.
  • Minimum of 6 months of office experience
  • Highly proficient in customer service
  • Demonstrate proficiency with GSuite (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc) applications, scheduling systems and other health care industry related software.
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically orally and in writing.
  • Ability to remain flexible, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor; and present a well-groomed professional image.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate and accurately follow through in work activities with time constraints and interruptions to meet deadlines, as well as, work independently with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision.
