Assembly Technician

Start as soon as this week in an assembly position that offers benefits and competitive pay! Within this company, you will be offered the opportunity for advancement as well as performance raises. Pay is starting at $20/hr with a performance-based review/raise after 90 days!

Description:

You will be working in a team setting to assemble tillage equipment using various hand and power tools. In addition to assembly, you will be responsible for picking and moving parts as well. Forklift is preferred but not required. Must have a general mechanical aptitude that will allow you to understand blueprints or instructions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilizing hand and power tool experience to assemble agricultural tillage equipment
• Pulling parts from in and outside the warehouse using system generated pick lists
• Transfer and or issue parts in the parts inventory management system via a computer
• Follow all company safety rules and regulations
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Train and become certified in the use of forklifts, cranes, and other necessary machines
• Assist with machine tear downs for shipping if needed

• Experience with agricultural equipment parts is preferred

• Computer skills – including the ability to operate a computer to open documents in word, excel, and pdf
• Experience in operating forklifts, skid loaders, and pay loaders preferred
• Self-motivated and goal orientated personality
• Able to move and bend under and around large equipment
