Acara Solutions is recruiting assembly technicians to workfor a prestigious aeronautical client in Melbourne, Florida.

Here's what you'll need:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of assembly or maintenance experience in the aviation or aeronautical industry

Here's what you'd do:

• Repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations
• Mechanical and/or electronic assemblies and subassemblies of:Modules

Boards
Panels
Drawers
Frames
Cables

• Follow diagrams, drawings, blueprint lines, and index points
• Design initial layouts
• Use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, jigs, saws, and fixtures
• Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
• Follow approved assembly procedures for component or aircraft structures, including:FAA-approved internal procedures

Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
Technical data
Work package instructions

• Perform serviceability tests as requiredUse test equipment specified in technical manuals
• Complete work package documentation as required by FAA and/or repair station manual
• Submit completed work to Quality Assurance for final/in progress inspection and certification of airworthiness
• Inspect completed work to identify any needed rework before signing offEnsure that repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances
