Aircraft Cleaner/Detailer, Line Assistance
Job Description
This position is responsible for overall cleaning operations of all company charter and customer aircraft. This position is based in our maintenance hangar and includes deep cleaning during and after heavy maintenance such as carpet cleaning, detailed interior cleaning, and exterior cleaning, waxing and buffing following maintenance. This position also includes hangar cleaning and upkeep as aircraft move in and out, aircraft tugging to move aircraft in and out of the hangar, and moving aircraft to and from the MAC FBO and other airport locations as needed. Pay rate is determined by experience with excellent pay potential for the right candidate.
Job Functions
· Wash & wax aircraft exteriors
· Polish exterior bright work (leading edges, engine inlets, etc.)
· Clean aircraft windows
· Vacuum interiors
· Open tray tables for cleaning and to check for condition and operation
· Clean aircraft floor runner carpets
· Empty ash trays
· Clean seats & vacuum pleats, check for condition and operation
· Clean aircraft lavatories and check lavatory supplies
· Clean aircraft drawers and storage areas, check for condition and operation
· Work directly with customers to clean their aircraft
· Moving aircraft via tug and assisting the line department
Job Requirements
· HS Diploma or equivalent
· Experience cleaning and detailing vehicles or aircraft
· Experience cleaning leather, carpet, and other interior surfaces
· Attention to detail
