About the Aircraft Dispatcher Position
We’re seeking a dependable Aircraft Dispatcher to join our team as our main contact to schedule and optimize our flight training schedule. From customer schedule requests to scheduling aircraft maintenance, you’ll be responsible for handling a variety of tasks.
Our ideal candidate will have superb multitasking skills along with the ability to make decisions independently. As our goal is to transmit accurate information in a timely manner, you must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Dispatcher Responsibilities
- Oversee a busy aircraft and flight instructor schedule
- Maintain student progress and student attendance times
- Document important information
- Schedule Federal Aviation Administration Practical exams
- Verify pilot information and duty times
- Proactively attempt to solve problems, suggesting solutions to the best of your ability
- Dispatch necessary resources to locations as needed
- Keep up-to-date call logs, records, and any other appropriate documentation
Dispatcher Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- [1-2] years experience in a similar role as aircraft dispatcher or certified flight instructor
- Knowledge Federal Aviation Administration flight training requirements FAR Part 141 and FAR Part 61
- Superb communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Above-average typing skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
