ABOUT THE POSITION
The Airport Coordinator position is responsible for the daily support and coordination of the Skyland Aerial airport location. A description of the duties includes:
- Process all aerial application work orders accurately and timely;
- Coordinate the scheduling of all aerial application work orders with the applicable aerial employees;
- Perform administrative support functions for the airport;
- Assist with airport product sales;
- Scout fields for aerial application services;
- Basic knowledge of all chemicals and their abilities of control;
- Must know, understand and comply with all safety and governmental regulations;
- Provides excellent customer service;
- Responsible for maintaining clean facilities, and complying with all state and federal regulations pertaining to a safe workplace, housekeeping, and all activities that require regulation compliance;
- Attends safety and training meetings;
- Understand and comply with all state and federal regulations;
- Present a clean and professional appearance;
- Employee is required to perform all other duties as directed by the supervisor.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic computer operation skills.
- Agriculture industry experience required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Some sales experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand chemical and re-entry labels.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
- Occasional travel may be required.
