Job Title: Airport Credential Officer
Job Description:
Process and submit ID’s for the employees that work at the airport. Control the access levels to the different work areas, as established by the federal regulation, 49 CFR and Security Directive.
Essentials Functions:
· Receives documentation to request IDs, verifies and enters it to the corresponding system and registers the fingerprints. Downloads results from the fingerprints and STA (Security Treatment Assessment) and sends the documentation to the area where the cards are issued and enters it in the corresponding system.
· Reviews that the employee’s file is complete, as per the established requirements, auditing them before printing the ID. Prints and delivers the ID.
· Charges the cost of issuing the ID, makes copies of the IDs and payment receipt to complete the documentation of ID request, and files it by date of the appointment.
· Processes ID changes and downloads it to the system. Updates the corresponding system with the ID number and current expiration date.
· Balances the register and established procedures monthly and delivers to the supervisor.
· Provides customer services to the airport employees.
· Dismiss ids returned in the System.
· Perform random audits on file by company.
· Check ids returned monthly system vs physical file.
· Record revenue per day in database.
· Record tracks submitted daily in database.
· Perform the daily cash tally and separate the petty granted.
· Download CHRC results.
· Participates in a monthly meeting, as required.
· Helps training personnel.
· Files completed records by company and ascending number.
· Notifies supervisor about material and equipment needed.
· Execute any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:
· High School Diploma.
· Between six (6) months to one (1) year in a similar job.
· Language skills in Spanish and English. Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos, write correspondence and present basic information to a group of clients or employees.
· Customer service and security oriented.
· Ability to follow instructions.
· Ability to work with the public.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $10.50 per hour
