Amazon Specialist
As an Amazon Specialist, you will manage a piece of our client's multi-branded, multi-channel Amazon account, understanding how Amazon operations, merchandising, marketing, and the flywheel are intertwined to achieve business goals. The ideal candidate will have Amazon experience in a corporate environment and possess knowledge of both e-commerce and Amazon best practices, including a general understanding of Vendor Central and/or Seller Central, Amazon Advertising, and all Amazon sales levers. Responsibilities include the day-to-day management and execution of Amazon's sales, POs, promotions, assortment, and forecasting for their assigned brands.
Responsibilities:
- Manage company listings on a daily basis, including setting up new listings, operating terms, modifying the listings and optimize them according to company marketing strategies.
- Enhance product titles, descriptions, categorizations, and keywords for optimal performance, improving page rank, SEO, and sales
- Research and develop keyword strategies for SEO and SEM
- Continually identify and evaluate new opportunities for better product listing optimization
- Conduct competitive research to identify our strong and weak points
- Analyze the assigned businesses regularly for a wide range of performance metrics and KPIs to understand trends and opportunities. Share key points with leadership. Communicate risk or opportunity to leadership. Develop a plan of action.
- Ensure POs are processed accurately and on-time and report on fill rates as it relates to financial targets and forecasts.
- Maintain and manage the overall assortment in alignment with lifecycles, other channels, and financial strategies.
- Implement new product launches on Amazon aligned with merchandising guidelines.
- Deliver results. Drive growth and help to achieve multiple financial targets by implementing sales, marketing, and merchandising strategies for assigned businesses in partnership with the Marketplace Manager and the Brands.
- Drive short and long-term Amazon strategy to meet and exceed company’s growth goals
- Own and manage AMZ Search PPC initiatives & metrics
- Manage sales forecasts by providing weekly/monthly/quarterly estimates on sales projections and plans
- Own the Amazon & E-tailer; media budget, sampling, promotions, and holiday
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth through AMZ digital marketing
- Manage day-to-day Seller Central operations, such as inventory management, order tracking, and forecasting
- Partner closely with external agencies, e-tailers, and internal marketing teams to develop strategies to maximize ROAS
- Help support planning and execution of Amazon ad spend with media agencies that support the brand’s sales goal and marketing focuses
- Partner with marketing teams to create content including product page, brand store, assets, videos, reviews, and refreshes for Amazon and E-tail partners
- Liaising with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to secure forecasts in line with channel plans and financial forecasts
- Activate the right growth levers by tracking, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from specific KPIs (new to the brand, top of funnel, unique visitors, conversion rate, profit optimization, coca.)
- Create ASINs, upload images, A+ content, and set up promotions
- Create and maintain sales and marketing grid: promotional calendar, product exclusivity guide, cross selling mechanisms, product launches, and marketing activations
- Own the catalog maintenance on Amazon
- Identify and lead new test ideas to additional revenue
- Track category trends to implement growth strategies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
