Core Responsibilities

• Commitment to the Way We Work Principles, and adheres the Company's Standards of Business Conduct and other Company procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (''EH&S''), Equal Employment Opportunity (''EEO''), discipline, and security.
• Perform daily transaction confirmations.
• Submit natural gas price reporting to various industry publications.
• Perform analyses of market pricing in the Company's energy supply locations.
• Analyze current and proposed hedging strategies to assess risk.
• Track ISO credit requirements and maintain appropriate levels of financial security.
• Periodic and ad hoc analyses regarding stress testing, funding liquidity, hedge plan assessment, etc.
• Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree degree in financing, science technology, engineering or mathematics. and three years financial or risk analysis function.

Preferred Education/Experience

• Master's Degree degree in Finance.

Relevant Work Experience

• 3-5 years Experience in financial analysis. Required
• 3-5 years Experience in financial risk analysis. Required
• 3-5 years Extensive knowledge using excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.). Required
• Knowledge of derivatives, hedging, risk management, credit analysis, and experience in performing financial and technical analysis using comprehensive spreadsheet models to support such analysis. Preferred
• Knowledge on Con Ed commodities (power, capacity, natural gas). Preferred
• Experience in a trading environment. Preferred

Skills & Ability

• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
• Excellent interpretation of complex statistical data
• Develops and delivers effective presentations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.

Licenses & Certifications

• Driver's License Required

Other Physical Demands

• Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
• Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
