Arbor Rose at Jerome Home, a premier, not for profit, Senior Living community located in New Britain, CT is seeking a part time Prep Cook for our current dining location and our new addition. Our community offers assisted living, memory care and state of the art expansion offering additional memory care apartments and a wellness pavilion. Under the direction of the Cook and Dining Director, the Prep Cook will prepare food in accordance with the established menu.

- The candidate should have the following:
- up to 1 year experience in food service
- excellent knife skills
- Experience with a senior population,
- Ability to deal with other staff
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee and resident information
- Smartforce is our on-line scheduling program. At the click of a button, you can request time off or request to pick up a shift. You can also send email/text notification to request coverage of an open shift. It is one of several ways to communicate to many staff all at once.
- Relias is our on-line education program. Classes are assigned via email for staff to complete in the allotted time at your own pace.
- Paylocity is our online payroll system. We are all direct deposit and you are able to view your check right online. This is another tool to communicate to staff.
