We are presently searching for an Architectural Designer for our firm. The right candidate is a motivated, high-energy individual who enjoys the fun, fast-paced environment of Silicon Valley, and who looks forward to designing exciting developer, corporate, and high technology projects.

Primary Function: Serves as senior designer on project teams and is responsible for the quality of the design work performed. Works closely with and supports the design principal on all architectural design-related issues. The function of the architectural designer is to plan, organize, and control all design activities on all ARC TEC projects as well as their own activities to best accomplish the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

Design

1. Comprehensive design skills in all ARC TEC project type genres (ie. corporate office, retail, mixed- use, multi-family residential, specialty hi-tech, etc.)

2. Reviews the design work of all personnel to ensure it meets the highest professional standards.

3. Strives continually to complete all assigned design projects on time and within the allocated budget.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.

2. A minimum of five years experience in the field of architecture.

3. Knowledge of professional ethics as it applies to architecture.

4. Requires continuing education to continuously improve in their job specialty.

5. Applied knowledge of building materials, specifications, and construction.

6. Ability to build quality relationships.

7. Client maintenance.

8. Be a US Citizen or be able to show legal proof to live and work in the US. We do not sponsor work visas.
