Kent County, Dover, DE is accepting applications for the position of Archives Records Clerk to maintain, preserve, and inventory numerous County records according to the State retention standards, and provide general administrative support. Requirements include: some knowledge of office terminology, procedures, and equipment; knowledge of basic arithmetic and English; ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; ability to write legibly; clerical aptitude; computerized office procedures; working knowledge of personal computers and pertinent applications. Experience with office mail room operations including postage machine and high-capacity copier desired, as position may regularly perform such duties. Completion of standard high school course work or G.E.D. or any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Possession and retention of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license issued by the State of Delaware required. Good driving record required to retain position. Must pass testing for substance abuse and criminal background investigation. Direct deposit of pay required.
