Range B: Starting rate of $25.29 hourly. Full position range: $25.29 - $35.01 hourly.
Reports To: Senior Asset Manager - Asset Management Department
Position Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt
As the Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative and program support for the Fair Market portfolio managed by third-party property management companies. In addition, you will audit reports, assist residents via phone and email, prepare and review reports, assist in preparing and reviewing annual operating budgets, and assist with site inspections as needed. To thrive in this role, you’ll need intermediate experience with Excel, specifically creating spreadsheets, using formulas, and familiarity with sorting and filtering data. In addition, you’ll need skill in organizing and managing a significant flow of paperwork and research, along with the ability to establish and maintain necessary records and prepare clear and concise reports. You’ll need experience communicating with people (staff, clients, and others) in calm or potentially emotionally charged situations. Experience with budgets, property management, and familiarity with Yardi is preferred.
As an Asset Management Specialist, you will learn how to gather and input HASCO’s submission to WBARS, in addition to reviewing accounts payable items for the portfolio, while working with residents and team members to ensure a positive interaction.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to regularly sit, talk and/or hear. The employee will constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and color vision.
Work may be performed at the main office in Everett, WA, in the field, or from other outside locations and will mostly be in an indoor, office environment. Incumbent may be required to physically visit the office to perform duties with or for others on the team and needs to be located within Western WA. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will operate standard office equipment including computers, telephones, and related equipment.
