This is an incredible time of growth for Fizz, as we are opening our second location: Fizz Walnut Creek. The Assistant General Manager will play a key role towards achieving our vision of #champagne4all. Reporting directly to Chief Champagne Officer (CCO) Raymond James Irwin, the AGM will be involved in all day-to-day operations of the Fizzness. Operating as the CCO’s “right-hand,” the AGM will perform duties including, but not limited to: assisting guests with sommelier services; assisting staff with orders, order taking, and smooth guest experience; managing weekly order inventory; editing and creating flight mats and making menu updates; scheduling and coordinating meetings; conducting employee performance reviews; developing strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement; supervising kitchen and wait staff and providing assistance, as needed; keeping detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly costs and revenues; and making executive decisions, holding meetings and providing accountability in the CCO’s absence.

The successful AGM will be someone who can make decisions quickly, collaborate in a team environment, showcase a strong attention to detail, is creative, and exhibits superior customer service skills. Most importantly, the AGM must have a passion for champagne, a desire to constantly learn, a constant goal of making sure that everyone walking into the store has the best and fizziest experience possible, and a continued desire to serve the Greater Sacramento Region through champagne and bubbles
