Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University in Jupiter, Florida, is seeking an Assistant Research Professor to work on Fundamental Questions in Cellular Neuroscience.
Summary of Responsibilities:
The primary role is that of a laboratory manager, responsible for planning and conducting neurobiological experiments in Drosophila, mice or cultured cells, as well as mentoring graduate students and undergraduate students.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD with more than 8 years of wet-bench research experience in molecular biology and genetics, and ideally some experience in electrophysiology and/or fluorescence imaging of live cells and tissues
