Assisted Living/Memory Care Caregiver - Part Time - All Shifts Job at The View At Pine Ridge

We are looking for Caregivers to join our team and care for our residents in a professional and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. Our Care Practitioners provide assistance to our residents in activities of daily living (ADL's) according to federal and state laws and regulations and according to policies of our Community, monitor residents for changes in condition, behaviors and signs/symptoms of illness and effectively communicate these changes to the supervisor. This position also partners with the implementation of the life engagement program that enriches our resident's lives. Must be 18 to work in a Wisconsin CBRF.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with ambulation and mobility
- Assist residents with personal care and hygiene
- Ability to work independently as well as being an effective part of a team

- Perform light housekeeping duties that residents can’t complete on their own

- Be a pleasant and supportive
- Communicate with residents in a kind, respectful, and gentle manner
- Report any unusual incidents or change of condition
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Effectively manage and prevent behaviors
- Medication administration
- Maintains training compliance
