This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by formulating standard review procedures and developing and revising standard tools for quality assurance reviews by the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) unit within the Center for Health Care Quality (CHCQ); performing technical analysis of data gathered in reviews by quality assurance specialists; aggregating results of reviews and analysis into reports, maintaining dashboards and, disseminating reports of local/statewide results.The quality assurance analyst works as a data and information specialist for the IQA within CHCQ and is responsible for supporting the ongoing dissemination of quality assurance results to district office and training managers, field branch chiefs, and executive management teams, to inform and publicize performance improvement and competency achievement.

The incumbent works under the direction of the Health Facilities Evaluator Manager I (HFEM I)
