This position works closely with the Director of Collections Management, Head Preparator, Curators, Conservators, and Exhibition Managers, coordinating all aspects of permanent collection rotations and installations. The primary function of this position is to track and care for the objects in the DMA's permanent collection and to oversee collection storage. Job responsibilities are subject to change at any time within the registration department due to departmental priorities and/or for cross-training purposes. The Associate Registr ar for Collections is also the direct Supervisor for the Collections Assistant and in collaboration with the rest of the registrar team and Director of Collections Management assigns tasks and projects to the Collections Assistant in support of departmental priorities.
