Global Energy client-facing Assurance, Interface and Risk Coordinator sought for a 9/80 work schedule in Houston client office in Downtown Houston. Candidates must be local to Houston, no relocation or visa sponsorship provided.

This role will cover the following:

• Interface management process and tools. Plan, facilitate and track to resolution key interfaces, including exchange of key information between project teams, project contractors (EPC), 3rd party vendors (e.g., Fabricators, Shipping bureaus, etc.), and internal stakeholders (e.g., Ops, Chevron Technical Center, etc.).
• Ensure execution risks impacting projects are identified and managed (early identification, mitigation plan development, actions tracked for timely decision making)
• Develop and implement assurance plans based on project needs and track actions to closure. Assist with other BU-wide assurance engagements, as needed.
• Support capturing and sharing of relevant lessons learned with project teams, other Chevron business units and functions.
• Manage monthly project reporting to internal/external stakeholders.
• Facilitate weekly project status meetings.

• 
  8+ years of Project Engineering and/or Project Controls Experience in natural resources environments
• Seasoned energetic project professional that understands key interfaces of natural resources project lifecycles and management
• Risk management experience
• Intuitive individual that can anticipate challenges and get ahead of issues
