The Corporate Audit Department works proactively with the business to identify the risks and challenges facing Campbell’s. We provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve company operations. Campbell’s is looking for an Audit Manager to help lead the Audit department and provide enterprise level risk assessments that align with the strategic goals of the company. This motivated individual will lead an established team on projects such as end-to-end business process reviews; internal investigations and fraud reviews; and targeted financial, operational and compliance audits. The Audit Manager position reports directly to the VP of Internal Audit and is responsible for the coaching and development of 4-6 direct reports.
This position is located in Camden, NJ. Campbell’s operates a hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week remote. No travel is required but may be optional depending on the project.
What you will do…
  • Perform risk assessments and develop the annual audit plan based on risks facing the company and what is most important to our stakeholders
  • Strategically drive the complete end-to-end process for individual audits
  • Set scopes and objectives to set team up for success
  • Represent the team as the main contact for key stakeholders in each audit
  • Provide oversight and direction to Audit Team Leads who are responsible for day-to-day audit execution
  • Deliver audit results that provide meaningful insights and drive action towards the company goals
  • Review all versions of audit reports and workpapers before issuance
  • Manage and develop audit team through coaching, training, performance feedback and best practice sharing
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships across various businesses by demonstrating knowledge of business risks and processes
  • Support the VP of Internal Audit to:
    • Drive department efficiencies and strategy
    • Prepare materials for the Audit Committee
    • Lead continuous improvement efforts, including developing and monitoring meaningful department metrics
    • Execute against department led deliverables and initiatives
Who we are looking for…
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field required.
  • We will also consider any undergraduate major with an MBA degree
  • 9+ years of experience, preferably with at least 3-5 years of supervisory experience, in some combination of internal audit, public accounting, or consulting
  • Intellectual curiosity and excellent problem-solving skills to challenge current audit methodologies with new ways of thinking
  • An analytical mindset to solve complex problems, apply analytics tools and utilize technology in audit activities
  • The desire to lead, motivate and coach the audit team to a successful future
  • Flexibility to continually review and adapt audit plans to changing business risks and needs
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively influence, build relationships, and resolve conflicts with various levels of management and members of Campbell’s organization
  • An open-minded perspective to foster growth and improvement by monitoring external trends and soliciting feedback from stakeholders and business partners
  • A proactive work style, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, with a high level of attention to details
Preferences but not deal breakers:
  • Candidates with CPA designations
  • Big 4 experience
  • Manufacturing or consumer products/food industry experience
  • Experience with fraud auditing and investigation
  • Experience with SAP (ERP) data and testing SAP related controls

Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$85,900.00 - $158,900.00
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
