We are seeking an Augmented Reality, Systems Engineering Associate Manager who will help lead and grow a team of experts in Model-Based Engineering (MBE). You will work with the team while planning and leading their efforts with disruptive technology. This role will have you work as a contributing member of planning the tech road map of the team through digital transformation.

Additionally, you will have a strong hardware engineering background that can be leveraged in support various MBE initiatives. You will be able to learn new concepts quickly, solve challenging problems, and apply that understanding to the MBE products, tools, and capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Has an understanding of MBE, MBSE, and using SysML
  • Fundamentals of Systems Engineering
  • Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering (mechanical design, structures, mechanics, and materials)
  • Experience use CAD and knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Project or Team leadership experience
  • Demonstrated behavior of a Systems Thinker
  • Ability to solve complex problems to align with the bigger picture
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Systems, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
Desired Skills:
  • MBSE Tools: Cameo/MagicDraw, Rhapsody
  • Mechanical Design and/or Manufacturing experience
  • Proficiency with ASME Y14.5M Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Standards
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals including structures, mechanisms, materials, and analysis
  • Familiar with mechanical hardware manufacturing processes
  • Experience or knowledge of tools such as EPDM, Windchill, and PTC Creo
  • Experience or knowledge of Mechanical Engineering industry standards, processes, and applicable federal requirements
  • Demonstrated behavior of a Systems Thinker
  • Experience or knowledge of Control Account Management (CAM) and Basis of Estimates (BOE) practices and processes

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $102,400 - $170,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
