As a Used Car Mechanic, you will be diagnosing and repairing domestic and foreign vehicles. Repairs will range from basic to advanced skills based on your level of experience. Ideal candidates should work well in a team environment, provide outstanding customer service, and follow workplace cleanliness, organization, and process standards.

We are currently seeking well Experienced
Used Car Mechanics, also called
Used Car Technician or
Used Vehicle Technician. Earn
$25.00 or more per hour based on your experience! In order to offer the highest quality pre-owned vehicles we are also offering up to
$10,000.00 in sign-on bonuses (*All bonuses are payable over Ten months and subject to continued employment.)
As a Used Car Mechanic, you will be diagnosing and repairing domestic and foreign vehicles. Repairs will range from basic to advanced skills based on your level of experience. Ideal candidates should work well in a team environment, provide outstanding customer service, and follow workplace cleanliness, organization, and process standards.
Bonus Levels are Experienced Based as Follows:
- $10,000.00 - ASE Certified Master Technician With L1 - (Advanced Engine Performance)
- $7,500.00 - ASE Certified Master Technician
- $5,000.00 - ASE Technician

Used Car Technician:
- Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing
- Provide Manager with detailed estimates for repairs and replacements
- Repair vehicles based on diagnosed issues and repair estimate
- Test Drive Vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and determine whether any other problems exist
- File appropriate documentation on every repair
- High school diploma/GED required
- ASE certifications preferred but not required
- 3+ years of automotive repair experience
- Knowledge of tools and equipment required to preform all repairs
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools required
- Valid Driver's license with good driving record
- Substance screening is required of all Performance Honda Fairfield employees
