Buyer is responsible for the accurate and time-sensitive function of procuring and operates in accordance with established processes set by department.

Job Duties:

Review all purchase requisitions for the content’s: accuracy, interchangeability, and the level of urgency.

Consistently follow up on open orders and maintain communication with vendors to ensure terms of delivery, cost and quality are met.

Respond to inquiries on order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Coordinate with Customer Service team on fulfilling customer needs, expediting, order status and other related information.

Skills/Knowledge/ Experience:

Excellent written and communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Knowledge of procurement/purchasing practices and procedures. (Preferred)

Must be organized, detailed oriented and able to multitask.

Must be able to work with a sense of urgency.

Candidate must be a quick learner and able to work in a fast paced, results oriented organization.

Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities.
