If you enjoy an active work environment and are comfortable juggling two under two (at least for a few months), this Durham family is looking for you! They currently have a 20-month-old boy and will be welcoming a little girl to their family in late May/early June. Dad works from home full time and mom sometimes works from home and they are hoping to find a nanny who is confident fully managing the day as they have busy workdays. This position is perfect for a nanny who likes to get out and about! They are seeking a nanny who will interact with their children through play, take them on outdoor adventures, to playgroups, and proactively plan fun activities. Mom will be on maternity leave and spending time with the baby at the beginning of this role and is looking forward to the support of the nanny to help them as they get into a new rhythm as a family of four.
If you have a knack for planning developmentally appropriate activities (sensory, motor skill, etc), that would be highly valued! The family is hoping for someone who can encourage both children’s continued growth as they grow! Help with child-related household support like meal prep for lunch and snacks, bottles, and the kid’s laundry would be part of this role. They would also appreciate help with organizing and keeping all things kid-related and tidy. They do have a cleaning service regularly and can promise only light household duties will be required. A nanny who would like to join a family very long term is desired as they hope to work with this nanny for several years and are looking for a supportive, active, and engaging partner as they journey on this new adventure as a family.
