Job Description: Work in an airport environment providing customer service to airline passengers loading and unloading baggage indoors and outdoors.

This list includes some of the requirements but is not a complete list of current job duties

· Must be able to successfully complete a Criminal History Record Check

· This is a safety sensitive position and you must be able to pass a drug test

· Must be able to successfully complete the Security Identification Display Area test and meet all local airport requirements in order to obtain and retain an airport badge

· Must be able to work any day or shift, including weekends and holidays

· Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

· Ability to work well with others as part of a team

· Must be able to stand for long periods

· Must be able to walk long distances

· Must be able to load, stack and organize luggage

· Must be able to lift and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weight of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces

· Must be able to pull/push a loaded baggage cart for long distances (about 200 lbs.)

· Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions

· Be time conscious and meet deadlines

· Must be able to work with minimal supervision

· Must be able to speak and write the English language in a clear and understandable manner

· Bilingual Preferred

· Must be able to communicate crucial information and instructions verbally and via radio or phone

· Possess hearing ability to monitor audio devices and read display monitors

· Must be able to pass a fingerprint based criminal background check

· Conform to dress code and follow all company regulations and policies

· Must be able to pay close attention to detail and focus on handling repetitive tasks

· Must be alert and careful working around moving diverters and moving conveyor belts

· Must display keen alertness for safety and be aware of others in the work area

· Previous airport experience preferred

Pay: $17.56 - $18.65 per hour
