Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is seeking 1st and 2nd shift Mixer Operator for our Elk Grove Village location. As our Mixer Operator you would be responsible for processing duties and maintaining equipment to keep production at optimum efficiency at all times while complying with GMP’s, food safety standards, quality standards, and safe practices.

Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is a leading manufacturer of Greek and Mediterranean foods for foodservice, national chain, retail grocery, specialty, and warehouse club businesses. We have manufacturing facilities in Elk Grove Village and Glendale Heights. We manufacture and distribute specialty meats, flatbreads, dips, spreads, and sauces.
What you are going to be doing…

• Responsible for production effectiveness
• Acquire ingredient supply
• Handle change overs
• Lifting 50 lb. bags of ingredients frequently
• Changing machine settings as needed
• Conduct product inspection to ensure specs are met
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Cross-train in all Operator position duties within the department
• Follow all Safety Guidelines and use Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Comply with food safety and quality assurance standards (GMPs, HACCP, FSI, SQF, etc.)

What you need to have…

• Experience in manufacturing environment, with food experience
• Clear verbal and written communication skills

What you will get paid…

• $19/hr. - $20.00/hr.

What hours will you work...

• 1st 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• 2nd 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Physical Demands/Work Environment…

Manufacturing plant environment with varied temperatures including hot, cold, and freezer. The work environment includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on high places, and/or exposure to chemicals in work setting. Incumbents are frequently required to stand, walk, hear, bend, stoop, climb, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, pull lifting to 50lbs, and push unassisted.
