Bartender Job at Common Restaurant
Common Restaurant is adding to the bar team
We are a craft / scratch bar program. We have a bar built by bartenders for bartenders. This bar is in a restaurant so food service is a large part of the job. The bar has 15 bar seats and 6 four top tables that the bar is responsible for. You will also work closely with the raw bar as it is located next to the main bar. Shifts average between 120 - 350 covers for the complete restaurant. Brunch service ( fri, sat, sun) runs from 10am - 3pm, dinner service is 5pm - 10pm with happy hour in between. We have an extensive spirtits & wine program. Credit card tips atre paid weekly via paycheck. Please look us up on our website & and social media to get a feel of who we are. Bartenders are also expected to work in a fast-paced environment & remain calm under pressure; to multitask while continuing to work with attention to detail; to act professionally and calmly while "on stage"; and to keep a clean workspace. Bartenders must be able to stand and move for long periods of time without a break and must be able to bend, squat, reach over head, kneel, twist, and lift at least 25 lbs., and walk up and down stairs, sometimes multiple times a day.
