West Side Beer Distributing is searching to fill our open Merchandiser position. This is a Part-Time position looking for Tuesday, Thursday & Friday with work hours of 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

*Compensation: $16.75/hour, after 90 days $17.25, after one year $17.75/hour
*Merchandisers drive their own vehicle but are given a gas allowance
*Valid driver's license
*$20 weekly auto allowance paid bi-weekly

POSITION SUMMARY

Rotate and stock cases on shelves, coolers, racks, and bins with product and arrange and build product displays to attract customers. Take physical count of stock, check and price product. Responsible for adhering to company policies, procedures, MLCC guidelines and supplier agreements.

Take inventory to identify items to be replenished.

• Rotate and stock shelves, racks and bins with product.
• Check inventory levels and rotation and monitor product quality according to company and supplier standards.
• Plan and build product displays in retail stores.
• Stamp, attach, or change price tags on product as directed by sales representative.
• Set up advertising signs and displays of product on shelves and counters to attract customers to promote sales.
• Complete product and development training as required.
• Communicate appropriate information related to inventory and customer service needs to sales representative or delivery personnel.
• Know and understand all competitive pricing.
• Maintain positive customer relations.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver’s Licenses.
Other Requirements: Must pass physical, drug screen, background check and motor vehicle report must meet insurance company guidelines.
