As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you can be providing direct care to young girl with a wide range of interests & skills . As a DSP, you will have the opportunity to support someone as she participates in daily activities such as; going out into the community, doing a craft project, playing a game, music, companionship, attending an event or learning a skill.

Job responsibilities include (but not limited to) community engagement, communication support (prompting & documenting as needed), supervising and maintaining safety, personal care, support with interests & activities, companionship. We will provide training and support.

Experienced caregiver will:

- Have experience providing support to people with ID/DD & BSP's

- Be responsible for supervision, safety, and welfare of individual at all times.

- Be responsible for maintaining a productive routine

- Provide assistance and/or supervision in the areas of; interests and hobbies, activities of daily life (ADL's), community integration, communication & supports.

- Record documentation & provide feedback on individual's skills and accomplishments in goals and objectives.

- Demonstrate recognition of, and properly report suspected abuse and neglect.

You MUST…

Be willing to follow all CDC, state, and local Health guidelines. Please be Covid vaccinated.

Preferred degree in relevant subject or have at least 6 months experience in caregiving. (Patient Care Technician, DSP, Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), Social Work, Education, Special Education, Residential Care, CNA, RN, or similar)

Have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and clean driving record & be williong to get background checks.

Current Shifts Available: Part Time. $20 per hours to start (please be willing to provide both before & after school care)

M-F before school support 6:30am - 8am

M/W/F after school support 3-6pm

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:

-Be willing to follow all CDC, state, and local Health guidelines. -This will include wearing of Mask, and gloves
