The Company
Ingles Markets began in 1963 as a single supermarket and has since grown into a regional grocery store chain with just under 200 retail locations operating in 6 southeastern states, a 1.6-million-square foot distribution center, two truck fleets, and a milk processing plant. Ingles Markets’ headquarters and distribution center are located just 15 minutes outside of Asheville, NC in the town of Black Mountain.

We are lean team that services 27,000 employees across 6 states. We work hard as a collective team to ensure everything is accomplished, even if it is not in our job description. The Position
Ingles is currently upgrading our buying system. This is an exciting time and provides opportunities for the right individuals to grow. The Beta Tester will learn all about the new technology and assist with end-user testing and troubleshooting. The is a temporary full-time position with the possibility to be hired permanently as the project finishes, for the right candidate.
The Candidate
An ideal candidate should be computer literate and able to learn new systems quickly. The candidate should have the desire to improve systems and processes, as well as have the ability to identify potential issues and improvements. This person will need to be able to work independently and efficiently, with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, as assigned. Experience as a scanning coordinator or knowledge of the buying process is preferred, but not required
