Le Cavalier (lecavalierde.com) located in the beautiful and iconic 5-star Hotel DuPont in Wilmington, DE is seeking an experienced full-time Beverage Manager.

Influenced by the flavors of Provence, Le Cavalier (pronounced: luh-KAH-vuhl-YAY) is a neo-brasserie offering thoughtfully sourced French classics and inventive riffs on French staples paired with natural wines designed to complement our fare.

Position:

• Beverage Manager

Compensation:

• $65-75K salary
• Paid bi-weekly

Schedule requirements:

• 50 hours per week
• 5 days per week

Language requirements:

• English

Experience required:

• 2+ years of experience with full beverage program accountability in an upscale casual restaurant
• Strong wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• Ordering & receiving, inventory
• P & L management (maintaining food costs, maximizing profitability)
• Staff training & motivation
• Scheduling
• Managing 5-10 employees
